The next Jazz'Art for the Société will be presented to you in Edmonton, January 28th 2012 in the theater de La Cité francophone, 8627-91 Street, at 7:30 pm.

In partnership with the Wood Buffalo régional chapter of ACFA, a Jazz'Art will be held on February 18, 2012 in the Centre Boréal. Two other will be offered one in Lethbridge March 24 and one in Bonnyville March 31 2012.

Tickets: $20.00/person. For a table of 8, 140$ for the Jazz'Art of the Société in La Cité francophone


The artists


Jacques Martel.
Born in Gimli, Manitoba, Jacques moved to Edmonton in 1971. He worked as a graphic artist for Edmonton Power for 12 years. He now has his own business. Realism is Jacques' reality.

Karen Blanchet
Karen lives in Legal. She lived in Australia for 13 years and returned to Alberta in 1978. She obtained her Bac. of Fine Arts at the U. of South Wales. She has participated in painting murals in Legal.



The musicians

Pierre-Paul Bugeaud
A sensitive and mature musician, Pierre-Paul is very much at ease on both the acoustic and electric basses. He is well known for his flexibility in accompanying singers as well as other musicians. He approaches all types of music with intelligence and spontaneity. Jazz, however is his passion.

For the Jazz' Art concert, he will be accompanied by friends and artists:
